Martresaca Da’Shauntia’ Jackson-Howard has been a member of Krewe of Athena Carnival Club, Inc. for the past three years. Martresaca currently serves as an Executive Board Member, Chairperson of Membership, and the Creative Director of the Fancy Fedoras Dance Troupe.

As Queen Athena IV-Select, Martresaca extended her reach to the community through her platform Dance. Donate. Dominate. Her platform gave two dance scholarships to dancers from low-income families and donated outerwear, warm winter clothing, and food to local shelters. As a member of this refined and elite organization, she is honored to not only wear the crown but to be affiliated with an organization that is much more than a Mardi Gras krewe.

Martresaca is a lifetime member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church of Start, LA and seeks spiritual guidance from Pastor Kentrell and Lady Pritchett, lead servants of Power Center Church in Chalmette, LA. Along with Hayward Howard Sr., Martresaca is a proud parent of Hayward Howard Jr.
