Queen Athena V

Robin Bevins-Jackson

Robin Bevins-Jackson

Robin Marie Phillips Bevins-Jackson is a Charter member of the Krewe of Athena and a native New Orleanian. She is a graduate of John McDonogh High School and is currently attending Walden University to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Accounting.

Robin has served in many capacities within this organization. She currently serves as a float lieutenant and chairperson of the Jazzy Fedoras Walking Auxiliary. As a result of her humanitarian instinct, she organized Athena’s first prom gown giveaway generously assisting hundreds of high school students. In addition, Queen Robin collects and donates gentle worn shoes to Third World Countries. Queen Robin is truly committed to her work within Athena.

Since its inaugural year, Robin has worked with the OWL Initiative to advance the mission of “raising the next generation of young ladies.” As such, she manages the auxiliaries’ fundraisers and works hard with the Debutante Committee.

Robin is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters, Alrieon Bevins and Troylynn Roberts. She is the wife of Wendell Jackson, a native New Orleanian who is a Mardi Gras Indian.

Queen Robin credits her family and friends for her successes. Her greatest inspiration is her grandmother, the late, Mae Lillie Jones. “My grandmother always told me to treat people with respect and never let a person treat me better than I would treat them.”

The 2019 Royal Court is not complete without her King, Graces, Debutants, Princesses, and Pages.
