I the undersigned agree to adhere to bylaws ans all rules, guidance and regulations of The Krewe of Athena (KOA) Carnival Club, Inc., if I am accepted for membership. I agree to release The Krewe of Athena from any damages or losses sustained by myself as a result of my participation in the parade, coronation ball, and other KOA related activities.

I understand that there are NO REFUNDS for any payments for membership dues or any other purchases related to the Krewe of Athena Carnival Club, Inc. In no event shall the Krewe of Athena Carnival Club, Inc. be responsible or liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations hereunder arising out of or caused, directly or indirectly, by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of God; decisions by parading parish, and/or the Police Department; wars; civil or military disturbances; acts of terrorism; sabotage; epidemics; riots; power failures; computer failure, and any such circumstances beyond its reasonable control. The Krewe of Athena Carnival Club, Inc. shall use reasonable efforts to resume performance as soon as practicable under the circumstances.
I understand that should I be accepted as a member of The Krewe of Athena Carnival Club, Inc., I obligate myself to pay the dues and contributions as stipulated in this application. I understand that dues are non-refundable and non-transferable.

I understand that the Krewe events covered by membership fees will be determined by the Board of Directors based on timing, restrictions, and/or protocol set forth by state and local government, if applicable.

I understand that the initial membership payments is due on or before March 26, 2023. I understand that an initial payment is required to activate membership; however, full membership privileges will not be granted until the $800 minimum membership threshold is reached on or before May 21st, 2023. To maintain full membership privileges, all membership dues must be paid by August 20th, 2023. I understand that a late fee of $20.00 will be assessed each month for payments made 10 days after the selected payment plan date.

I understand that this application is not complete if I do not submit the $75.00 non-refundable application fee. I understand that all applications that are not completed will be automatically purged daily.
